43 year old Tshiring Jangbu Sherpa from Thulung Dudhkoshi – 9 in Solukhumbu is a UIAGM/IFMGA/NNMGA mountain guide as well as a certified ski instructor. He has guided at least half a dozen Everest expeditions as well as other 8000 m + such as Lhotse, Shisha Pangma, Manaslu, Makalu and Cho – Oyu in his two-decades-long mountaineering career. Tshiring is also a board member of the Nepal Mountain Academy run by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of the Government of Nepal and runs his own mountaineering and trekking company.
